Video Tutorial: How To Crochet With Beads
Several of you suggested adding beads to the barefoot sandals so I made a video to go along with the patterns, to show how to add beads to crochet. This technique isn’t specific to the barefoot sandal patterns, it’ll work with any crochet project!
I’m not quite as happy with this video as I normally am, but I hope you’re able to learn from it! I’d love to hear what you think of it. :)
Thanks for the video! I always wondered what kind of witchcraft and wizardry went into adding beads! =]
Simple and informative…just the way I like ’em! Thanks for the video, Julie, after seeing it, I think I can do it!
Great videos and I love that I can see everything you are doing very clearly. Your angle and lighting are perfect.
Thanks! I’ve been wanting to try adding beads to my crochet projects, but I’m a design as I go person, and putting a set number of beads on my yarn before I begin was not working out. I love your method of using the tiny crochet hook to work the bead onto the yarn. Fantastic!
Thank you for the demonstration. I’m going to experiment on your smaller hook technique.
Hi that tutorial on beads was great , the close-ups and the way you presented it good job renee
Thank you very much. this should be able to help me alot with adding beads to my hats also.
Thanks, the video was very informative. Now i can do with beads.
Thank you for the tutorial on beads and how to use them! I am fairly new at crocheting and I want to use beads. You make beautiful flowers too. Flowers are my favorite things to make! I’m working on several projects right now but my biggest is my granny square blanket! Now I can add beads! Thanks again! Meri
I love these. I am making a couple pair of these to be auctioned off. (I am not selling them for profit) Our church is doing a fund raiser for a couple where he is battling cancer and they are running out of money. I have seen our church bid 700.00 on a cake. I hope to get a good bid on these. Love them! And, I just might make myself a pair or two (different colors) and one for my daughter, my daughter-in-law and my four granddaughters! they are just so cute!!
