Front Post Double Crochet Video Tutorial

First, can I just say that I am loving making videos right now?! I’m having so much fun! :D

Today I want to share a video tutorial for the front post double crochet (FPDC)! It’s really just like a double crochet except you insert your hook around the stitch below rather than through the loops as usual. you can watch the video below or on YouTube! I used this stitch in my Ferris Wheel Slouchy Hat pattern (which I’ll be re-releasing tomorrow, completely rewritten & with plenty of helpful photos!) to create a ribbed texture. It can also be used to create crochet cables (similar look to knitting) and other fun textures!
