Snowflake Hexagon Free Crochet Pattern
I’m excited today to share the hexagon I designed for the Blog Hop Crochet Along! Hello crochet-alongers & welcome to anyone who has never visited me before! :)
Knit Picks was kind enough to send Brava Worsted for us bloggers to work with and when I saw the colors, they felt very wintery to me so I came up with this snowflake design!
Finished Size: Hexagon should measure 5 inches across from point to point.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
• 4.5mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle for finishing
• Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors
Yarn used in example: Knit Picks Brava in Dove Heather (CA) & Solstice Heather (CB)
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
trc – treble/triple crochet
sk – skip
ch/chs – chain/chains
sl st – slip stitch
rep – repeat
rnd – round
ea – each
st/sts – stitch/stitches
CA, CB – Color A,B

rnd 1: ch 3 (counts as 1 hdc). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. ch 5. [2 hdc in same ch as before. ch 5.] 5 times. sl st to join to top of first hdc. (12 hdc)
rnd 2: sl st into next ch sp. ch 1.

It’s a very nice pattern. But it would be helpful if you would include simple printable instructions withouth all the illustrations – I waste a lot of ink and paper printing stuff that I don’t need.
